McColl’s has collaborated with six other brewers and a supplier to create half a dozen beers raising funds for three men’s mental health charities.

MayDay beers

The beers are being launched under the MayDay tag on Friday, 26th April, and will be available on keg from 25 venues, as well as in six-packs from bottle shops and McColl’s own webshop.

“The Mayday project is here to help raise awareness of men’s mental health, to reduce the stigma surrounding it,” says McColl’s.

“We want to get people talking, to help them find effective ways to tackle their issues, and we want to raise as much money as possible for three great charities who all actively tackle men’s mental health every day of the week.”

Those charities are Manup?, Men’s Pie Club, and The Grieving Pint. The collaborating breweries are Abbeydale, Anspach and Hobday, Attic, Brew York, Moor, and Rooster’s. The project was sponsored by hop supplier BarthHassX.
