A beer festival which had been running for more than 30 years is set to return to a Devon village this bank holiday weekend.
Despite a few years without the festival, during and after Covid, the Branscombe Beer Festival will be back and bigger than ever. It’s being held at the Masons Arms, which has just been crowned Devon Pub and Bar of the Year in the National Pub and Bar Awards.
The three-day festival will feature beers from five breweries from across the South West with live music, a silent disco and food and games on offer.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing back this iconic festival to the village,” said general manager David Putt. “It’s always such a great atmosphere and really brings people together.
“There will be live music across three days and a silent disco on the Saturday night. Music will be in four different locations across the pub, inside and out, so people get to experience all off the areas that we have.
“This will be a fabulous event to the unite community in a celebration of great South West beer in Devon’s best pub.”
There will be beers from St Austell Brewery, which owns the pub, as well as Lyme Regis Brewery, Branscombe Brewery, Bath Ales, and Harbour Brewing Co.
The festival gets under way at noon on Friday (3rd May) and runs until Monday (6th May).
