Alcohol-free lager brand Lucky Saint is embarking on a mission to champion better mental health.
It is starting close to home by training hundreds of professionals across the hospitality and retail industry in mental health first aid.
The work is part of a partnership with Mental Health First Aid (HNFA) England. This collaboration is a first of its kind, and one that will positively affepact thousands of people, across the food and drink industry and beyond.
This partnership will help MHFA England to achieve its mission of training one in ten people in mental health first aid skills. It’s a vital project given that poor mental health is costing UK employers up to £45bn every year.
This partnership is just the start of Lucky Saint’s mission with the brand, also securing suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably as its official charity of the year for 2022.
Making a difference
Lucky Saint has hired Harry Corin as its mental health champion, who said: “The training will teach those in attendance how to identify, understand, and help someone who may be experiencing mental health issues, and provide the attendees with the confidence to listen, reassure, and respond to those individuals.

Lucky Saint has already trained its entire team in mental health first aid, part of the brand’s mission to ensure it has a positive environmental and social impact as they progress to becoming a certified B Corp.
