Norfolk brewery Woodforde’s has won a major national listing for its flagship beer, Wherry. It will be available throughout the UK in Greene King’s 1,800 managed-pub estate from this month.

Since directors James Hughes and Nick Dolan took on the business in April 2016, they have increased the sales distribution and profile of Woodforde’s in the UK, including a successful roll-out of new branding in September 2017.

Nick, Woodforde’s chief operating officer, said: “We are delighted that Greene King has chosen us as one of a select number of beers in its pubs.

“This listing will further build on our national profile, and we are thrilled that drinkers in Greene King pubs will now be able to enjoy a pint of Wherry throughout the UK.”
