The beer is the latest small-batch release from St Austell Brewery and has been created with Yorkshire’s Rooster’s Brewing Co.

St Austell production manager, Rob Orton, first met Rooster’s head brewer, Ol Fozard, on a hop selection trip to the USA in 2013. Rob and Ol have been good friends ever since and marked their first collaboration in 2016 with Grandview, an American pale ale.

Rockafella is 6% ABV and boasts all the qualities of its namesake dessert. Brewed with lemons and lashings of vanilla pods, it has clean citrus and soft, juicy aromas. The complex biscuit malt base is layered with a smooth, sweet, and a creamy mouthfeel.

The beer has been brewed with Chinook, Harlequin, and El Dorado hops. In true collaborative spirit, the ingredients also feature Yorkshire water alongside Cornish yeast and malts.
