The Indian Brewery is to open its second taproom and street food joint in the heart of Solihull town centre. The venue should be open before the summer.
The venue will set out to be innovative, with Birmingham-brewed craft beers (including flagship Birmingham Lager) and Indian street food. It will have a capacity of about 100.

There will be communal seating along with tables for two, and a great bar area in a casual, industrial, artistic setting. Visitors can expect a fantastic beer selection of self-brewed craft beers on tap, along with guests.
The overall vibe will be like the first establishment, Indian Brewery Snowhill. Visitors can expect a playlist with mixed culture tunes, an open glazed beer cellar, open-plan kitchen and hand-painted artwork.
Founder Jaspal Purewal said: “After the launch of our first taproom (Indian Brewery Snowhill), we’ve received such positivity from the public, which has been the key factor for us to open our second site.”
Jaspal had studied at Solihull College and knows the town very well. “In Solihull there’s not many independent businesses. There’s a load of mainstream companies out here and we’ve seen an opportunity to offer our locally-brewed beers and innovative Indian street food. We will be increasing employment within the local area, and working with local organisations to really shout about Solihull.
Next, the brewery plans to open a state-of-the-art brewery in central Birmingham, with an onsite taproom and tours. More details will follow soon.
