Crumbs Brewing, which creates beer using unsold bread, has announced two new charity partnerships.
As well as helping fight the growing problem of food waste, every purchase from the brewery’s webshop will now support two great charities: FoodCycle and Just One Tree. Every sale will see 50p donated to each charity.
FoodCycle focuses on feeding those in need with food that would otherwise be wasted, but the organisation also has community at the heart of what it does, tackling loneliness, too.
Every £1 contributed to Just One Tree will enable the charity to plant a tree. That one tree will absorb 48lbs of carbon dioxide per year for every year of its life. One small tree but one big difference.
