Budweiser Budvar has seen a 44% year-on-year rise in sales of its Tankové Pivo tank beer — unpasteurised beer shipped directly from the Czech Brewery.
The company’s UK managing director, Simon George, said: “We have installed Tankové Pivo in 14 sites across the UK and they are enjoying good growth, supported by excellent new openings such as Arc Inspirations’ The Box, in Leeds.
“The Budweiser Budvar brand is continuing to go from strength to strength. We want to partner with operators who do a brilliant job of educating their customers about the benefits of tank beer, and we are really looking forward to 2019.”
