Japanese beer brand Kirin Ichiban has announced a bottle design refresh that is currently being rolled out across the UK.

The new design will be available across nationwide operators such as Wagamama and leading supermarkets, including ASDA and Morrisons.

Kirin Ichiban is made using the unique first press brewing method, and remains one of the only beers in the world to use this process to ensure a quality beer with a delicate and superior taste.

The new design aims to emphasise the unique brewing process, with a clearer description to better educate consumers of its importance and the brands rich heritage.

John Clements, head of commercial marketing at Marston’s, said, on behalf of Kirin Ichiban: “Kirin Ichiban is a fantastic Japanese beer, and the bottle refresh will cement its premium look and feel. Heritage, and the brewing process is at the heart of this brand, so it’s fantastic to modernise the design for our UK market.

“This is a beer for operators who believe that only the very best will do for their customers, and hopefully the new bottles will make it pop out on shelves and in fridges too.”
