Portland (5.6% ABV, can)
Pitch black, this has a rich beige head, but it dies down fairly quickly. Peanut butter dominates the aroma, with an edge of milk chocolate. On the palate, it’s smooth and slips down easily. It’s firly sweet, but it’s billed as a peanut butter porter, so that’s to be expected. I can see views being divided, but I like the flavours here. 330ml is enough, though. Peanut butter dominates with smooth chocolate, a hint of espresso coffee, and notes of lactose and vanilla.
