The Kelham Island Tavern has been named pub of the year by the Sheffield & District branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

The pub was also named Kelham Island/Neepsend pub of the year on its way to the main title. District pub of the year is The Old Hall at Hope.
Both the Kelham Island Tavern and the Old Hall at Hope now go forwards to represent the branch in the Yorkshire and North Derbyshire regional pub of the year judging respectively.
Other Sheffield and district winners were:
- City centre pub of the year: Bath Hotel
- East Sheffield pub of the year: Oxbow micropub, Woodhouse Mill
- West Sheffield pub of the year: Rising Sun, Nethergrenen
- South Sheffield pub of the year: Brothers Arms, Heeley
- North Sheffield pub of the year: Commercial, Chapeltown
