Burning Sky is to release Through The Fields — a 5.7% ABV blend of foudre- and barrel-aged mixed fermentation beers — on draught in locations nationwide this week.

“We’d like as many people as possible to try this because, really, this is what Burning Sky represents,” says the brewer. “Small-batch, time-matured beer.”
The beer will get a fraught release on Friday (28th March) in 20-litre kegs at:
- The Prince Albert, Brighton
- The Evening Star, Brighton
- The Westbourne, Hove
- The Hope, Carshalton
- The Dean Swift, London
- The King’s Arms, Bethnal Green
- The Robin, Crouch End
- The Crow, Sheffield
- Fell Bar, Kendall
- Free Trade Inn, Newcastle
- Salt Horse, Edinburgh
- Koelschip Yard, Glasgow
- The Marine Hotel, Stonehaven
- Port Street Beer House, Manchester
- North Bar, Leeds
- The Ship and Mitre, Liverpool
- Beerwolf Books, Falmouth
The remainder of the beer is now available for pre-order in 750ml bottles. The bottled beer has been aged on local elderberries before refermentation. “It is dry on the palate, with notes of earthy berries and a light spritzy Burgundy,” says the brewer.
There are also a limited number of A3 giclée prints of the Through the Fields artwork available, signed by artist Simon Gane. Find out more on the Burning Sky website.
