Black Sheep Brewery has relaunched its limited-edition stout, Blossom, created by its female staff, in celebration of International Women’s Day.

A 6% ABV cherry stout, Blossom was created in 2023 as part of an initiative to celebrate gender diversity within the brewing industry.
It boasts a robust, roasty flavour profile with deep chocolate malt notes, layered with peppery, bitter hops. A touch of cherry juice adds a sweet, fruity aroma, complementing the malt and hop bitterness.
“We’re proud to bring back Blossom as a celebration of the talent within our team and the wider brewing community,” said Black Sheep marketing executive Lara Theakston.
“It’s been rewarding to see how this stout has resonated with consumers and beer lovers alike. With Blossom, we’re showcasing both the skill of our female brewers and the growing shift towards diversity and representation in the brewing world.”
The beer is featuring in JD Wetherspoon’s spring beer festival, which runs until Sunday (16th March).
