As they prepare to focus on growing family commitments, the Archers are seeking the right individual or team to take the reins of their much-loved brewery and continue its legacy of excellence.
Founded in 2013 with little more than a passion for great beer, Padstow Brewing Co has grown into a thriving business with a reputation for quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.
Over the years, the brewery has expanded to serve regional, national, and international customers, complemented by a successful online store and two popular Tasting Rooms in Padstow town centre.
“We are extremely proud of what we’ve built and deeply grateful for the support of our talented team, loyal customers, and the local community,” said Caron.
“We started with no brewing knowledge, no premises or equipment, and no staff, and yet we’ve managed to create something truly special. It’s been an incredible journey.”

Padstow Brewing Co boasts a diverse line-up of over eight core beers alongside seasonal offerings that celebrate both traditional and craft brewing styles.
Standouts like Padstow Pilsner have earned acclaim from industry, including multiple mentions by beer writer Pete Brown, and national titles. The company’s success is further underscored by more than 50 regional and national beer awards.
As they step back, the Archers are particularly keen to find a buyer who will continue to preserve the ethos of the brewery, while embracing its significant growth potential.

“This is a bittersweet moment for us,” said Des. “But we’re confident that the brewery’s best days are ahead. There’s a huge opportunity for new ownership to build on what we’ve established, whether that’s through expanding the brewery’s
reach, enhancing the Tasting Room experience, or exploring new directions.”
The Archers have emphasised their commitment to ensuring a smooth transition for the business. Caron said: “We have an incredible team who are the heart and soul of this business. They’ve been instrumental in building the Padstow Brewing Co and we owe them so much. Finding the right person to continue to empower our team is a top priority.”
