Hull-based Atom Beers has secured an investment deal with a local business owner which will secure the future of the brands and the continuity of brewing.
Following a pre-pack administration, brewing at Atom’s Hull location will continue, with a remit to grow and innovate. The investment, from Rob Brocklesby, will provide the necessary capital to drive the brewery forward, retain the current staff, and put the business in the best position to grow.
“In a very challenging market, Atom has always strived to make the best beers possible, has significant recognition across the industry, and is a recognised Hull brand,” said Rob. “The beers are excellent, and with this investment there is a bright future ahead.”
All staff members are being retained, ensuring continuity and stability for the Atom team.
Atom’s sister business Atom Bar Hull is unaffected and will be retained by the original shareholders while continuing the historic close relationship with the Atom brewery.
