A number of guest blogs published by Verdant are being collected into a book which will be launched at The Social, in London, on 18th November.

My Life in Beer

The project came about after a chance meeting between the brewer White Rabbit Books at the Sea Change festival in Totnes back in 2022.

“We have had an incredible amount of talent provide some wonderful pieces on their experiences, with or without beer in their life,” says Verdant.

A few of the writers will be there to discuss the book at The Social, alongside some DJs and, of course, Verdant beers.

• Verdant has also announced that it has recruited Max Churchill as corporate social responsibility coordinator. He will be working on getting the brewery B-Corp accreditation.

The brewery has also been awarded an IETF (Industrial Energy Transformation Fund) grant for the purchase of a CO2 recovery system. This will allow them to capture the carbon dioxide created during fermentation, which can then be cleaned and re-used.
