Verdant has launched Billie’s DIPA, a juice bomb, brewed in loving memory of French bulldog Billie, the mascot of Billie’s Craft Beer Festival in Antwerp.

Verdant Billie's DIPA

For two days a year in early November the festival, the first of its kind in Belgium, turns Antwerp into the promised land for beer geeks from all over the globe.

Verdant has been pouring at the festival for many years, and wanted to celebrate Billie, in beer form, of course.

The special DIPA is a limited edition, only available from Verdant’s webshop and on tap at the festival next month.

Hugely pungent, it is hopped with two fascinating experimental New Zealand varieties: NZH-106 and NZH-109.

“Both of these smelt great during our NZ hop selection tour in March, so we are expecting big things!” says the brewer.

“A big shout out to our friend and artist Steve Xoh, who designed a wonderful label in his signature hand-drawn style. This is his second label design for Verdant, after previous work on our IPA An Endless Stream of Random Words.
