Multi-site operator Thornbridge & Co have announced they will be opening a new site, The Wild Swan, at 99 Fetter Lane, London.

“Since the beginning of Thornbridge & Co we have wanted to open a London site and bring our offer to the capital,” said director Jamie Hawksworth.
“I can still remember the excitement when I opened The Euston Tap 14 years ago, and we are going to bring that level of excitement to London.
“We have worked long and hard with the developers, YardNine, and it’s great to be able to bring a new pub to Fetter Lane to replace the much-loved White Swan.
“Our aim will be to have a heavy cask beer offer, alongside some great keg beers and a fabulous wine list, like our other Thornbridge & Co sites. We will also be offering food throughout the day.”
Proud to join London’s beer scene
Fellow director, Simon Webster, added: “We decided that as there was some artistic licence from where the old pub was and where it is now, we would do the same with the name, and we have decided to call it The Wild Swan, after one of our first beers.
“We are incredibly proud to join London’s beer scene and be able to create a new layer of history for the city.”
The Wild Swan has a provisional opening date of Easter 2025 and work will commence on the fit-out in January.
Thornbridge & Co has been operating since 2018, and run three pubs: The Market Cat, in York, The Bankers Cat, in Leeds, and The Colmore, in Birmingham. It is a joint venture between Thornbridge Brewery and Pivovar.
