Anniversaire, an annual favourite farmhouse beer from Burning Sky Brewery, is making its first appearance in can this year.
Lightly spiced in the boil, this special edition beer (6.5% ABV) has been fermented and aged in French Chardonnay barriques using a blend of wild yeast strains.
Also new from Burning Sky are two more brews available in cans.
Robust Porter (5.8% ABV) is another seasonal beer which, says the brewer, has “the best smelling mash in the brewery hands down”. Using Maris Otter barley and a complex range of roast and crystal malts, it is hopped with spicy Sussex-grown Target hops.
Industry Standard (6% ABV) is a modern hybrid IPA with balanced bitterness. Loaded with Riwaka and Moteuka hops from Freestyle Hops in New Zealand, these have been paired with Citra for huge stonefruit, citrus, and herbal notes.
It’s Beer Today’s 20th anniversary this month!
