Since the beginning of 2023, the BBPA has added 13 new businesses to its membership, helping to support it further in representing the interests of pubs and brewers of all different kinds to politicians, industry, and the public.

Among the new members are non-alcoholic beer brand Days, premium pub company City Pub Group, international brewer Damm, following the acquisition of its first brewery outside the Iberian peninsula, and Britain’s largest pub company, Stonegate.

They join the BBPA’s existing members who collectively run more than 20,000 of the nation’s pubs and brew 90% of the UK’s beer, along with a range of supply chain partners and associate members.

“This underlines the power of collaboration and joining our voices together,” said BBPA chief executive Emma McClarkin.

“We are thrilled to have so many new members join us, and we believe this reflects the vital work we have done on behalf of our sector in recent times, and the support we are providing members through the continuing challenges and opportunities.

“The breadth of these new members reflects the vitality and dynamism of our sector, and how we have begun to rebound dynamically from three years of exceptionally challenging circumstances.

“With the right government support, our sector is a powerful engine for growth, supporting economies and communities in every city, town, and village in the country.”
