Bristol independents Wiper and True and Left Handed Giant have teamed up for their annual summer collaboration, Summer Together, a 5.5% ABV pale ale.

The will be available on draught and in can from next week. The first keg pours will be on Thursday, 22nd June, at Left Handed Giant and Wiper and True’s own Bristol taprooms. Summer Together will also be in some of the city’s finest pubs and beer venues, including the Old Bookshop, Tobacco Factory, and The Greenbank.
“We absolutely love the crew at Left Handed Giant, and have enjoyed brewing all kinds of collaborations with the team there over the years,” said Alice Howells, head of marketing at Wiper and True.
“We first brewed Summer Together last summer, when the steam boiler at our original brewery had broken, but before we’d finished installing the brew kit in our new home in Old Market. We were effectively left without a way to make beer, and the Left Handed Giant team kindly helped us out by lending us their brewery for our own recipes, and creating collaboration recipes with us, too.
“This year was our turn to host the collaboration brew, in what has now become a wonderful new annual tradition.”
Summer Together is a soft, hazy, pale ale, hopped generously with Citra, Hallertau Blanc, and Nelson Sauvin, for notes of white wine, grape and citrus, balanced with a satisfying touch of bitterness.
