Verdant Brewing Co has taken over the running of the Schooners bar in Trevaunance Cove, St Agnes, Cornwall. The bar has been closed for a while.

From June to September, beer lovers, tourists, and locals alike will have the pleasure of enjoying Verdant’s signature offerings right by the sea.
There will be five taps, including permanent lines of its Helles Lager, its classic Lightbulb extra pale ale, and the newest addition to Verdant’s core range, a juicy pale ale called Sundialer. Alongside this will be two rotating taps of freshly packed beers.
Pizzas will added soon, too, which have proved popular at Verdant’s taproom in Penryn. There will also be a range of spirits and wines.
“Schooners is an opportunity that we simply couldn’t pass up,” said Adam Robertson, co-founder of Verdant Brewing Co. “Building upon the success of the Taproom and Seafood Bar, St Agnes perfectly aligns with our vision.
“With its natural beauty and coastal charm, we will be offering an idyllic setting for locals and tourists to gather, relax, and enjoy the best that Verdant has to offer during the summer months.”
Schooners will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 11pm, and Sunday 11am to 10pm. During the summer holidays, the venue will open seven days a week.
