Vocation Brewery has partnered with Hebden Bridge Film Festival to launch Hope & Resistance pale ale, the official beer of Hebden Bridge Film Festival 2023.
This special edition beer will be available to purchase at all of the festival screenings taking place at Hebden Bridge Picture House and Hebden Bridge Town Hall, from 24th to 26th March. The beer will also be available in can and on keg at Vocation & Co and other pubs in Hebden Bridge throughout the festival, including Coin, Old Gate, and The Robin Hood Inn (Pecket Well), as well as via Vocation’s online shop.
“Hope & Resistance, the official beer of Hebden Bridge Film Festival 2023, is inspired by the festival’s theme and catalogue of non-conformist film,” says the brewer. “It’s a pale ale with distinctive full flavour and hazy appearance, which proudly occupies the margins outside of the mainstream.
“We’re particularly proud to support Hebden Bridge Film Festival, a festival held in our hometown which helps to foster local and independent talent and support film makers in finding their Vocation.”
Vocation Brewery is also a sponsor of the festival’s annual short film competition.
The festival offers a diverse selection of documentaries, dramas, comedies, shorts, and feature films by filmmakers from all over the world. Many of these have already seen success at some of the world’s leading festivals, such as Sundance, Toronto, and Cannes.
Alongside the screenings, festival-goers will have the opportunity to attend Q and A sessions and panel discussions with special guests, including film directors, actors, writers, and producers.
