Hop the Pond Distribution and the Ladhar group have partnered to bring some of the best Stateside beers to the drinkers of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Hop the Pond first brought a refrigerated container of independent Texas beer to London in early 2022, destined for venues in the capital, Essex, and Sheffield.
Texas native and beer veteran James Trammell, founder of Hop the Pond, is now bringing his state’s finest brews to the people of the North East.
Texas beer offerings will debut at Crafted Projects pubs Lady Grey’s, Gunner Tavern, and Pleased to Meet You Morpeth, with an eye towards expanding to more Crafted Projects and Sir John Fitzgerald’s establishments in the coming months.
“At Hop the Pond, we are dedicated to honouring the hard-working Texas brewers we represent through the preservation and presentation of these world-class liquids,” said James.
“We do this by maintaining the proper temperature from brewery bay to glass, working with partners that understand beer, and making sure we are only supplying bars that hold the same standards.
“We couldn’t be more chuffed that our first supply partnership in the North East is with the folks at the Ladhar group, and we’re looking forward to building on this relationship.”
