As part of its 2023 seasonal cask range, Black Sheep Brewery has announced the relaunch of Finisher, brewed to support England’s Six Nations rugby campaign.

An English pale ale, coming in at 4% ABV, Finisher is brewed exclusively with English Ernest hops. It offers a balanced and light flavour profile, with fresh notes of apricot and citrus.
Available only in cask, it will be in pubs from Monday, 30th January. It will be brewed again later in the year for the Rugby World Cup.
“We’re delighted to be launching Finisher, the first cask beer from our 2023 seasonal range,” said Charlene Lyons, chief executive at Black Sheep Brewery.
“Created by our incredible brewing team last year, Finisher proved so popular that we thought it was only right to bring the tasty pale ale back once more, perfect for sitting in the pub, watching the rugby unfold with your mates!
“It’s a challenging time for businesses at the minute, however at Black Sheep Brewery we’re hopeful for a busy 2023 across the trade sector and we’re hoping that the Six Nations starting in February will encourage more people to visit their local pub for a pint to watch all the action unfold.”
Further cask special will be unveiled throughout the year, including new limited edition brews and some returning favourites.
Black Sheep Brewery continues to partner with local rugby clubs Huddersfield RUFC and Otley RUFC, as well as football team Harrogate Town AFC.
In 2022, the brewery launched its Drink Cask Beer campaign, which saw it partner with a number of creatives to champion cask beer and encourage younger people to move past misconceptions surrounding the drink. The brewery is set to continue the campaign into 2023.
