For the first time in two years, Magic Rock Brewing Co’s ‘Cannonball Run’ is back, celebrating the now-independent-again brewer’s iconic IPA.
This year, the three limited-edition hop-forward IPAs on offer are returning classics Neo-Human Cannonball and Human Cannonball, and new arrival, West Coast-inspired Superhuman Cannonball.
Neo Human Cannonball (9.2% ABV) is a New England double-IPA delivering tropical flavours of mango, citrus, juicy passionfruit, and tangerine, alongside a healthy double dry hop.
Human Cannonball (9.2% ABV) has more malt and hops to crank up the flavour of the original Cannonball IPA. The West Coast Double IPA is seen as Cannonball’s big brother. Expect pine and candied orange aromas combined with bittersweet grapefruit and mango flavours, all complemented by a deep malt base.
Superhuman Cannonball (10% ABV) has tropically fruity fresh hops against a malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds The imperial IPA is a nod to where it all began.
For every can of Superhuman Cannonball sold, Magic Rock will also be donating to one of the superhumans of the Huddersfield community, Streetbikes, a charity which helps raise awareness of and support inclusive cycling.
