To find out where the team is haeding each day, look on Everards’ Facebook and Instagram accounts every day for a clue. If you find them you are in for some prizes, fun, and, of course, free beer, with the first ten people given a free pint of Tiger!

Everards’ head brewerm Jon Elks, said: “I’ve been immensely proud to bring Tiger back to Leicestershire and continue in Everards investment of brewing quality beers.

“Tiger has been a firm favourite for our drinkers throughout its lifetime… I can’t wait to see Tiger through the next 50 years, and hope everyone joins us in celebrating such a momentous occasion!”

A local favourite, Tiger has a special link in Leicester as the Leicestershire Regiment were nicknamed The Tigers in 1825, following their long service in India.

Launched in 1972, Tiger’s branding depicted a bright modern image which symbolised the progressive and confident mood of Everards at the start of a new decade. In 2016, the brewery was honoured to receive special permission from the colonels of the Leicestershire Regiment to use their laurels on today’s Tiger logo.

Tiger is brewed exclusively for Everards’ own estate of more than 150 pubs, as well as partners, including local rugby club Leicester Tigers.
