Luda Brewing Co, established last year, has officially launched its brand online and will be celebrating its taproom opening on Saturday, 20th August, at the brewery in Louth.

The company produces Luda lager, IPA, Stout, and Hard Seltzer at its brewery on Fairfield Industrial Estate. Customers can buy the products online, from The Panacea bar in Louth, and from the brewery itself when it officially opens from next weekend.
The name Luda was inspired by the River Lud, which runs through the town of Louth, where the owners are from, and where the brewery is based.
Head brewer Joe Byrd said: “I’m delighted to be able to turn my passion into local produce here in Lincolnshire. I began brewing in 2014 in the United States and have been perfecting beer recipes since. I’ve now found the ideal mix and I can’t wait for the people of Louth to give it a taste.”
The company is owned by Kieran Matchett, Jonny Waller, and Mark Mumby. They had the idea to make beer and seltzers in 2021, which became a reality when they started brewing in the cold winter months last year with Joe.
The vision of The Taproom is a place where people can enjoy a few pints on Fridays and Saturdays and relax in a welcoming environment where everybody has one shared passion — the love of beer. In the near future, Luda will be offering brewery tours and gift vouchers.
A hit with its audience, Luda also sells merchandise perfect for the festival season, such as bucket hats, t-shirts, and baseball caps. The team have worked with local suppliers and designers to create a modern and vibrant brand, which can be seen across the bottle and keg labels, glasses, boxes, and merchandise.
