Salcombe Brewery Co has launched Breeze, a 4% ABV session lager available in cans and also on draught.
Breeze is brewed using two contrasting British hops, Jester and Boadicea. The Jester brings hints of tropical fruit, while the Boadicea introduces subtle spicy notes, with hints of orchard blossom.
Head brewer, Sam Beaman, said: “We have spent considerable time perfecting our new lager and we are extremely pleased with the results. Breeze is a highly quaffable pint in its own right, but it is also a great accompaniment for barbecue food.”
Breeze is being launched in a 330ml can, hot on the heels of the brewery’s new Salcombe Pilsner. The format works particularly well fo alfresco drinking.
Sam added: “Cans are also considered by many to be a more environmentally friendly option and, as such, sit well with our aims to constantly improve our sustainability credentials. We will shortly be moving our Salcombe Pale Ale and Island Street Porter into a canned format, too.”
