The Amber Alehouse, which opened its doors for the first time this month, is a modern industrial bar hosting Seven Bro7hers craft beers and cask ales. The new pub is aimed at those seeking pre-flight pints and travellers looking for incredible bar food.

The ten-year contract worth £30m provides HMSHost International exclusivity to host the Seven Bro7hers range of craft beers and iconic family of beers. The new airport site aims to mirror the atmosphere and ethos of Seven Bro7hers’ popular Manchester beer houses, with staff fully trained to offer customers a craft brewery experience.

Chief executive of SEven Bro7hers, Keith McAvoy, said: “It is a hugely exciting time for our business as we expand and recruit to enable us to grow. The Manchester airport partnership takes our business to the next level, giving our brewery a global platform and getting our beers in front of new drinkers.

“Based on footfall predictions for the next three years, we anticipate we will need to more than triple our current production to just to meet the demand of the Amber Alehouse in Manchester’s Terminal Two.”

This spring the brewery launched with its first major national retailer, its much-loved Juicy IPA and Honeycomb Pale hitting ASDA stores across the UK and online. The supermarket deal is a big win for the family brewery, generating over £600,000 annually.

The company’s direct-to-consumer business, via its webshop, also continues to maintain momentum, growing by more than 200% since the start of the pandemic.

Keith added: “ASDA is the first national supermarket deal for Seven Bro7hers and we are proud to see two of our most popular beers on shelf. Like the airport, it broadens our fan base outside of the North-West of England and enables us to take our brand to the next level.

“2021 is a moment for Seven Bro7hers. Lucrative commercial deals, a growing beer house portfolio, and thriving direct-to-consumer webshop make our business one of the faster growing craft breweries in the UK. This is a huge achievement as we celebrate our seventh year in business this month, and is testament to the hard work of the whole team and loyalty of our customers.”

Due to rapid expansion and growth the brewery is looking for two creative and experienced brewery professionals to join the team as a technical lead brewing manager and a production bewer. The business is also recruiting for a HR manager to operate across the brewery and beer house sites.

The brothers are now expanding the brewery site. The team have taken on a second warehouse space to tackle the increased webshop and on-trade demand.

The new larger site will include a office space for the sales, marketing, HR, and finance departments, and provide more space for the increase in production. The brewing team are now operating in a ‘shift-like’ pattern to ensure that brewing is ‘always on’.
