For the first time ever, ten competing Bulgarian microbreweries have collaborated to produce ten unique craft beers.

I Am Amazing

Each of the beers is named I Am Amazing, and they are all being sold only in speciality craft bars and shops in Bulgaria.

The aim of the initiative is to make consumers buy their favorite beer brands from the small bars and shops which are still suffering from the economic downturn caused by covid.

Mihail Durchev, chairman of the Association of Microbreweries in Bulgaria and owner of one of the
breweries, said: “‘I am amazing’ is one of the lines with which the Bulgarian professional boxer Kubrat Pulev challenged Anthony Joshua last December. That line provoked both positive and negative comments in Bulgaria.

“We have chosen it because we realised that even a person like Pulev and his undeniable success can divide our society. We want to give a new meaning to this phrase, because we are amazing not only when we win, but especially when we unite in difficult times.”

Some of the Bulgarian breweries which support the initiative are quite young. These include Cohones, Sofia Electric, and Rocket Science. Others are already established producers, such as Divo Pivo, Rhombus, Black Pine, Metalhead, Meltum, Trima i Dvama, and Fabric.

If you happen to get to Bulgaria, the list of bars and shops where you can find the bottles is at iamamazing.bg.
