Landmark Lager, the brewery’s first lager, won its award in the international pilsner category, while Scarborough Fair triumphed in the English IPA category, and Marmalade Porter in the robust porter category.
Brewery manager, Alex Balchin, said: “It’s been a challenging year for everyone in the brewing industry, and these results are welcome news and bring some pre-Christmas cheer.
“We’re one of only a few English breweries to win gold awards in this competition, and this success is testament to our hard-working team.”
The European Beer Challenge is judged by Europe’s most prominent beer buyers using a triple blind tasting method. The panel judged thousands of beers from 39 countries.
Europe is an important market for Wold Top, with exports to Italy alone accounting for 15% of annual sales in a non-covid year.
