Victoria, London, neighbourhood theatre, The Other Place, is hosting a Toast Ale Takeover to celebrate the current run of Nigel Slater’s Toast play.
The award-winning brewers, who produce craft beer from surplus fresh bakery bread, will be bringing the full range of their beers to the evening. A representative from the brewery will be present to talk guests through the brewing process and how they’re working to combat food waste in the UK.
There is a staggering statistic that 44% of the bread produced in the UK is never eaten!
Guests can choose to grab a quick brew ahead of show times (and in the interval), or settle in for the evening, trying the four Toast beers and enjoying the bar area.
The Other Palace’s Toast Ale takeovers will continue throughout April, May, June, and July, taking place on the second Thursday of the month. There is free entry on the night. For more information, click here.
