The Fellowship of Beer is bringing the Big Mash-Up back to the Steam Machine Brewing Co after an absence of two years.

The Fellowship of Beer

The festival runs on the evenings of Friday 30th and Saturday 31st January at the brewery in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, with live music and street food.

“Across the weekend we’ll have more than 30 beers on, including eight of our own, a full Fellowship of Beer bar, and a small, carefully chosen set of guest breweries,” said Nick Smith, of The Fellowship of Beer and Steam Machine Brewing Co.

“Some of the Fellowship beers we’ll be pouring are things we very rarely get to put on in public, including a honey braggot aged in an Irish whiskey barrel, a beetroot saison aged in a Spanish Rioja barrel, and a Brunswick Mumme brewed with wild botanicals and aged in a brandy barrel.

“Alongside those, there’ll be our usual mix of stouts, smoked beers, IPAs, lagers and oddities, plus winter beers from across Europe and the UK.”
