Some of the UK’s leading pub groups are coming together this autumn to support the Armed Forces community through the sale of Hero IPA.

The beer is a 4% ABV British IPA brewed by Hogs Back Brewery for Alf Turner. Created as a pint with purpose, it brings together a traditional British pub beer with a direct fundraising contribution to Help for Heroes from every pint sold.
From now and throughout the Remembrance period, Hero IPA will be available in selected pubs across Brakspear, Punch Pubs & Co, Stonegate Group, Craft Union Pub Co, and Admiral Taverns. The expanded activity follows the success of a similar campaign last year.
“We are incredibly proud to see so many of the country’s leading pub groups coming together behind Hero IPA and Help for Heroes,” said Paul Turner, founder of butchery business Alf Turner.
!There is something very special about the Great British pub, particularly around Remembrance. It is a place where communities come together, stories are shared, and people can show their support for those who have served our country.
“The success of last year’s activity showed us what could be achieved, and this year we have been able to expand the campaign significantly. With Brakspear, Punch Pubs & Co, Stonegate Group, Craft Union Pub Co, and Admiral Taverns all getting involved, we now have the opportunity to reach even more people and, most importantly, raise even more much-needed funds for Help for Heroes.”
Hero IPA forms part of Alf Turner’s long-standing fundraising partnership with Help for Heroes, which began in 2009. Over the years, sales of Alf Turner products have generated hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity, with the company continuing to develop new partnerships and initiatives designed to increase that support.
