New beer launches and collaborations, in store, on bars, and online, from brewers around the UK

Northern Monk’s Dark & Wild festival may be on hiatus for a year, but they have created a suitable beer, nonetheless. Double Chocolate Mudcake Stout (8.2% ABV) is a collaboration with Tripping Animals, based in Florida, who specialise in big, bold stouts. The beer is “uber chocolatey, deliciously thick, and sinfully satisfying”, made with vats of cacao emulsion and layered with lactose for a decadent result.

Burrow (4.5% ABV), a chestnut brown ale from Bishop Nick, is now available in bottle. It pours a deep chestnut brown, with aromas of spice and cedar rising from the glass. Layers of coffee, nut, and caramel malt bring richness and depth, while Challenger hops cut through with a clean bitterness. Goldings add a touch of honeyed sweetness, keeping everything in balance.

White Rabbit (5.1% ABV) is a hoppy pilsner brewed as part of Yakima Chief’s FWD Programme, with Stewart Brewing one of just three breweries in the UK taking part. “We’ve been experimenting with their HBC 1134 HyperBoost hop extract oil to put a modern twist on a classic pilsner,” says the brewer.

Polly’s 2026 Oktoberfest beer is here and this year it’s a 4.6% ABV helles lager. “A touch of sweetness, subtle spicy hop notes, and plenty of refreshment,” says the brewer.

Balance has released Ripple 2025 (5.5% ABV), a blend of barrel beer with an average age of 18 months, aged for seven months on carbonically macerated British raspberries.
Capturing the fruit just at its peak and blending it with a complex blend of complementary barrel beer, there’s a real depth to this vintage, says the brewer and blender. “Tart juiciness and aromatic raspberry jam notes meld beautifully with the layered funk and tannic, vanilla barrel character bringing structure and length to the zippy finish.”

Great Newsome Brewery is releasing its autumn special, Golden Ember (4.5% ABV) this week. “A deep golden beer with warming caramel malt notes and an orangey hop aroma, just the sort of beer we fancy as autumn starts to settle in,” says the brewer.

Marinated In is a new series from DEYA reflecting on hop harvest trips to the USA and New Zealand. And first up is Eggers IPA (6% ABV), built on Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops. “Expect a juicy fruit medley with pulpy orange and mango to the fore,” says the brewer.
