As part of Richardson, malting brands Crisp Malt, EDME, and MFP, alongside oat milling operations in Bedford, play an important role in connecting growers with brewers, distillers, bakers, and food manufacturers around the world.

The report provides an overview of the sustainability journey, including the initiatives, investments, and innovations helping to reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and respond to evolving customer and consumer needs.

“As we progess, our focus remains firmly on turning ambition into measurable impact,” said Ellie Wood, sustainability manager at Crisp Malt. “We are committed to continuous improvement, supporting our people and communities, and upholding the highest standards of governance.

“Collaboratively with our partners and across the value chain, we will continue to embed sustainability into our day-to-day operations to create long-term value for society, the environment, our business, and the value chain.

“In doing so, we are guided by our overarching goal: to be the kind of business organisation in which people can place their trust.”
