Vault City Brewery has launched a limited-edition caffeinated sour beer to help Scottish fans stay energised during late-night World Cup 2026 fixtures.

Vault City BLue Brew

Fans keen to catch Scotland’s games against Haiti, Morocco, and Brazil face late-night and early-morning viewings, including a 2am start on 14th June. Vault City has developed Blue Brew specifically to help fans stay energised and to ensure they don’t miss a moment of Scotland’s historic return to the tournament. Presented in a striking blue 440ml can, Blue Brew is 5.5% ABV and suitable for vegans, though it does contain gluten.

Blue Brew: World Cup 2026 Edition, a sour beer featuring a unique flavour profile with a hint of bubble gum and added caffeine, is a tribute to Scotland’s beloved soft drink. But it offers a much-needed boost for those tuning in for overnight matches back home.

“We wanted to give Scotland something special for the World Cup, a beer that celebrates our culture while helping supporters through every minute of those late kick-offs,” said Steven Smith-Hay, co-founder of Vault City. “Blue Brew offers the familiar taste everyone loves, with an extra burst of energy for those unforgettable World Cup nights.”

The World Cup edition of Blue Brew is part of a limited-edition rerelease of Vault City’s popular Iron Brew range, with new packaging introduced. Vault City is also offering a World Cup 2026 bundle, featuring 12 cans, a sticker sheet, and a pint glass, now available for £56.23. The launch coincides with a national bank holiday on Monday, 15th June, following Scotland’s opening 2am fixture.
