Redemption Brewing Co, in Tottenham, London, has gone into administration. This follows a winding-up petition presented earlier in the year.
The move is, alas, unsurprising at a time when businesses across the spectrum of hospitality are facing huge cost pressures.
When it was established in 2010, Redemption was the first new brewery in Tottenham in almost 100 years.
As well as the brewery, the business operates a Match Day Taproom when local Premier League side Tottenham are playing at home.
Philip David Reynolds and Anthony Collier, both of FRP Advisory Trading, have been appointed as the joint administrators for the company.
Redemption produce a core range of seven cask ale and three keg beers, including Big Chief IPA and Trinity pale ale.
