Beer Today’s regular round-up of news in brief: new releases, venue openings, event announcements.
Brew York have announced the full list of guest breweries pouring at their 10th anniversary Brewery Bash on 17th and 18th April. (Tickets can be booked here.)
The breweries are: Amundsen (Norway), Brewfist (Italy), Frontaal (Netherlands), Green Gold (Slovenia), Oso (Spain), Prizm (France), Rascals (Ireland), Sudden Death (Germany), To Ol (Denmark), and Tuju (Finland).
• The Scottish Beer Awards are now open for entries. Now in their 11th year, the awards celebrate the innovation, quality, and talent that define Scotland’s brewing industry. The awards are independently judged through blind tastings. The entry deadline is 21st May, and the winner will be announced in September.
This year, the awards will take place alongside the Beer Matters Conference and Dinner at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.

Irish stout Murphy’s has started 2026 with record year-on-year sales, a total volume uplift of 1,040% in trade. With St Patrick’s Day approaching, owner Heineken believes the stout is well placed to continue its growth into Q2.
“Our growth over the past year has exceeded even our most ambitious expectations, and is testament to strength of the brand itself,” said Heineken UK’s on-trade director, Will Rice. “The uplift in total trade and rapid expansion into more than 2,000 pubs across the country demonstrates the power of consumer demand for Murphy’s.”
Kirkstall have collaborated with London’s Saint Monday on Pentacle, a 5.5% ABV hazy New Zealand IPA. It showcases the Nectaron hop variety, with notes of citrus, pineapple, and passionfruit.
• Polly’s is celebrating a handful of gold medals from the 2025 Untappd Community Awards. Winning beers (and their classes) were: Welsh Black (stout), Nelson Kolsch, Fig & Cherry (stout, imperial/double), Little Fictions (sour, fruited gose), Midwest Sundown (IPA, imperial/double), Citra Visit (pale ale, New England/hazy), Lone Moon (IPA, triple New England, hazy), Something Pure (stout, milk/sweet), Not in This Galaxy (stout, American), Sweet Eclipse (stout, pastry), Pine (gluten free), End of Story (IPA, American), and Dolcita Sabrosa (IPA, milkshake).
Pomona Island have collaborated with Dead Crafty to mark the latter’s 10th anniversary. Double Yellow Lemon Sun is an 8% ABV DIPA hopped with Cryo Amarillo, Cryo Citra, Citra HyperBoost, Riwaka, and Vic Secret. On the palate, expect waves of grapefruit juice, fragrant orange zest, and aromatic lemon.
There are three new beers from Track this week. In The Loop (5% ABV) is a punchy pale ale loaded with the citrus and tropical character of Citra, Eclipse, and Krush. Flightless (6.5% ABV) is a vivid IPA bursting with citrus, tropical, and berry fruit flavours, courtesy of Nelson Sauvin, Strata and Mosaic. And Beginner’s Mind (7.2% abv) is a DDH West Coast IPA showcasing Citra, Motueka, Riwaka, Simcoe, and Nelson Sauvin. Expect bold layers of lime and orange, mango, and pineapple, backed up by resinous pine, gooseberry, and white grape.
