Independent drinks wholesaler LWC has partnered with Full Circle Brew Co to launch a limited-edition cask beer to mark International Women’s Day.

Full Circle Equal Measure

Created by women at every stage of its development, Equal Measure brings together female talent from brewing, design, sales, and distribution. It gives pubs and other venues a meaningful way to champion women in beer on their bars this March and beyond.

Women from across both businesses collaborated throughout the creation of the beer. LWC’s female cask co-ordinators worked closely with the female brewers at Full Circle Brew Co, getting hands-on at the brewery.

The beer’s visual identity was developed by one of LWC’s in-house female designers, with members of LWC’s internal Women’s Network coming together to choose the final name. Women across LWC’s sales and customer support teams are also playing a key role in bringing the beer to market, the collaboration reflecting the breadth of roles women hold across the beer supply chain.

The beer itself is a 3.6% ABV cask ale with a light, tropical and citrus-forward flavour profile, pouring a bright, pale golden colour. It is designed to be approachable and sessionable.

Available exclusively through LWC, Equal Measure will pour at their annual International Women’s Day event and will be available to customers to pre-order from February, ahead of wider distribution in March. A percentage of profits will be donated to Girls Out Loud, a charity dedicated to empowering and nurturing the abilities of young women and girls.

“This collaboration is about celebrating the skill, passion, and expertise women bring to beer at every level, whether that’s brewing, designing, selling, or supporting customers,” said Kotryna Zlat, cask lead at LWC.

“By working with Full Circle, we’ve created a beer that not only puts those women in the spotlight, but also gives the trade a simple, meaningful way to support the next generation of women through our support for Girls Out Loud. It’s a genuine point of difference on the bar for International Women’s Day and beyond.”

Sophie Deacy, Northern sales manager at Full Circle Brew Co, added: “We are excited to be working with LWC on its International Women’s Day beer, as this project is very close to our hearts.

“At Full Circle Brew Co, we pride ourselves on celebrating and empowering women across the brewing industry, from the scholarships we’ve created and funded, through to the people we employ.

“This collaboration with LWC honours the creativity, talent, and leadership of women in beer — including our very own female brewing talents — while reinforcing our shared commitment to equality and meaningful representation within the industry.”
