After 18 months of meticulous restoration following a fire, Hook Norton Brewery are to re-open their historic Victorian Stable Block on Saturday, 14th February.

To celebrate the return of the brewery shire horses to their original home, Hook Norton is hosting an open day, filled with heritage, heavy horses, and hops.
This Valentine’s Day, visitors will be able to:
- Get up close with shire horses Balmoral, Brigadier, and Cromwell;
- Meet the dedicated shire horse team, Nicholas Carter and Alyster Mills, and learn about the role the horses play in the brewery’s heritage; and
- Enjoy fresh ales served directly from the horsebox bar. In a gesture of gratitude to the heroes who saved the brewery during the blaze, all proceeds from the horsebox bar will be donated to the Fire Fighters Charity.
The event, at Hook Norton Brewery, Brewery Lane, Hook Norton OX15 5NY, will take place from 9am until 4pm.
