Cask Marque has welcomed Ossett Brewery as a new corporate member and stakeholder. The organisation has 40 members, made up of brewers and pub retailers.

Ossett Brewery currently have all their pubs accredited to Cask Marque. Joining as a corporate member will allow them to use Cask Marque to support their free trade customers. They will also receive beer quality reports on any of their brewery’s products assessed by Cask Marque anywhere in the UK.
”We have worked with Cask Marque in our own pub estate and seen the benefits,” said Edd Simpson, managing director of Ossett Brewery.
“We now want to take this support to our free trade customers so they can improve yields, and with improved beer quality, their rate of sale, and ensure our products are served in the best possible condition.”
Paul Nunny, of Cask Marque, said: “Customers’ expectations on their visit to the pub have never been higher, and these need to be met. This can be achieved by serving great beer and having trained bar staff.
“Our objective is to have 30,000 pubs with a five-star cellar rating. Having corporate members’ support is so important to deliver this industry target. The input from our new member will help us to achieve our goal.”
