Casa Hotel and Peak Edge Hotel have partnered with alcohol-free brewer Athletic to reward guests who choose to drive safely during the festive season.
Throughout December, those behind the wheel can enjoy The Designated Driver’s Pint: a complimentary pint of alcohol-free Athletic Run Wild IPA for anyone dining or staying at either of the independent four-star hotels.
Guests who prefer a soft drink can choose from the hotels’ range of Franklin & Sons refreshments. When they arrive, designated drivers simply let the team know and hand over their car keys for safekeeping. They will receive a full-flavoured alcohol-free craft beer that helps them enjoy the occasion while still being able to drive home safely.
The initiative supports Don’t Risk the Drive, a county-wide campaign from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire, which is encouraging people to plan how they will get home before the first drink is poured.
“Christmas is a time for friends, family, and celebrations, and designated drivers play a big role in making sure everyone gets home safely,” said Mark Thurman, managing director of Casa Hotels Group.
