Glass packaging supplier Croxsons has strengthened its long-standing values by receiving B Corporation (B Corp) certification.

The certification recognises Croxsons as part of a select group of innovative organisations that meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Certified by B Lab, the non-profit organisation behind the B Corp movement, this achievement proves that Croxsons has legally embedded its commitment to purpose beyond profit into its operations.

B Corp certification evaluates a business across five key areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. The thorough process took about a year to complete.

“We have a long history of wanting to make a difference, to our customers, our team, and our local and global communities,” said Tim Croxson, chief executive of Croxsons.

“B Corp gives us the accountability and transparency to demonstrate that we don’t just talk the talk, but we walk it too. It also provides a framework for how we can be even better. As a business, we can’t do everything, but we must do something.”

Giving back is fundamental to Croxsons’ culture, with the company’s charitable foundation — The Milk & Honey Trust — playing a vital role in its ethos. This dedication to social impact was a prominent aspect of the assessment and reflects the company’s belief in supporting both people and the environment.

Tim added: “Achieving B Corp status felt like a validation of who we are. It wasn’t about redesigning our business, but recognising the way we already work and the values we’ve always held.

“For us, this is not a moment in time, but an ongoing journey to improve; to be a better employer, a better partner, and a positive influence within our industry.”
