It’s been a while since Arran Brewery sadly lost their brewery dog, or ‘Brewery Dug’, but now there’s a new pup on the premises.

Meet Freya, the Brewery Pup, who surveys her empire in the photo above!
And, of course, head brewer Yorick Hinchliffe has made sure the newcomer has her own beer — 4.3% ABV ruby IPA.
The beer has a Crystal malt grist to give a sweet and caramel-flavoured base, to reflect her red coat and sweet dispostion. But it’s also heavily hopped with British Bramling Cross hops.
“She’s also made a demand that every case sold will provide her with a dividend of at least one dog treat which she will use to fund the expansion of her Pup-empire!” says the brewer.
