SIBA has revealed the beer line-up for Indie Beer Cymru, the new Welsh beer festival being staged in Haverfordwest on 19th and 20th September.
It is being organised by Welsh brewers from the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA), building on the success of the hugely popular Indie Beer Scotland event, which took place in Glasgow last week.
“Indie Beer Cymru is unique in only offering beers from genuinely independent breweries not linked to the global beer companies or lager producers, so not only will you get to try the very best beers from Wales, but you know you’re supporting local businesses run by real people,” said SIBA’s Neil Walker.
“The Indie Beer campaign is about celebrating great beer and supporting small businesses run by great people, so come along next week and try the best beers Wales has to offer!”
The beer festival will follow the judging of the Indie Beer Awards Cymru, allowing festival-goers the chance to be the first to try the official best beers in Wales. Winners will be announced across a range of style categories, and these will go on to the national finals early next year.
