In a busy weekend for beery events, Beer Merchants Tap, in Hackney, London, is playing host to a showcase of brews from respected Swedish brewers Omnipollo.
Running from Thursday (31st July) until Sunday (3rd August), the event will feature a full range of Scandinavian classics, including organic pales, fruited sours, lagers, and imperial stouts.
The Beer Merchants Tap team will also be serving “special pours”.
“We take an outstanding Omnipollo beer and level it up,” they explain. “Think beer with actual marshmallows, doughnuts, with bits set on fire, and put through a slushie machine.”
Among the beers to expect are:
- Coconut Space, an imperial brownie coconut stout, a collaboration with Monkish. Loaded with “an insane amount” of coconut, vanilla, and cocoa nibs.
- A New York Triple IPA, a collaboration with Test Brewery and Root + Branch.
- Deep Crust Raspberry Cream Smoothie Sour, a collaboration with Mortalis Brewing.
