The Pineapple Gose is a modern take on the traditional gose style, brewed in the heart of London. Infused with juicy pineapple, it balances the style’s signature tart acidity with a moreish salinity, creating a refreshing and flavourful profile, perfect for summer sipping. A touch of Maldon Salt, sourced from the historic salt-producing site in Essex, adds balance and drinkability.

To celebrate this collaboration, the Anspach & Hobday team, including co-founder and director John Hobday, visited the Maldon Salt works, where they had the privilege of raking the iconic salt flakes. This hands-on experience deepened their
appreciation for Maldon Salt’s centuries-old tradition, which dates back to 1882.

“We are thrilled to release The Pineapple Gose, brewed with Maldon Salt, a fruity, salty sour beer, which cherishes both the fantastic heritage of brewing and salt panning, bringing them together with a modern pineapple twist,” said John. “The perfect beer for refreshment in these long summer days!”

Simon James, product portfolio manager at Maldon Salt, added: “This partnership brings together two greats of British craftsmanship – our time-honoured salt-making tradition and Anspach & Hobday’s fresh approach to brewing. The result is a vibrant, flavourful beer that celebrates taste, creativity, and the joy of sharing good moments.”
