An online panel discussion will bring this year’s International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day (IWCBD) campaign to a close.

IWCBD returned earlier this year, after a break in 2024. Sixty-one brew days involved 837 participants and resulted in the creation of 66 beers. In the process, £26,921 was raised for 44 women’s causes around the world.
As an official close to the 2025 campaign, Women On Tap has invited some of the brew day project leads to join them for an online panel discussion, to reflect on their projects and experiences, and wrap up this year.
The event will take place next week, on Wednesday, 4th June, and will be hosted by Kimberley Spivey, who worked on the delivery of the campaign. The panellists will be:
- Emily Hengstebeck
Community and marketing director at Beards Brewery, and president of Fermenta, a Women’s Craft Collective - Lucienne Hallum
Sales and marketing representative at Turning Point Brew Co - Jacob Hobbs
Head brewer, Hackney Church Brew Co - Apiwe Nxusani-Mawela
Founder and chief executive of Tolokazi Brewery and Brewsters Academy
Rachel Auty, founder of the Women on Tap community interest company, will talk about the impact of the 2025 campaign, and plans for IWCBD 2026.
This event is a fundraiser for IWCBD 2026 and tickets are £6, or free for Women On Tap Changemakers. Book online here.
